Wae Rebo & Komodo Tour ( 6D/5N )

Day 1: Denpasar – Labuan Bajo – Denge
Upon your arrival on Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo you’ll be welcomed by our local guide then transfering to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we will drive for 5 hours to Denge village located on Flores Island. Dinner and overnight at Denge. Belasius Homestay.

Day 2 : Denge – Wae Rebo Village
After a light breakfast, we will trek to Wae Rebo Village, which takes around four hours hiking through the beautiful Flores surrounds. Our destination is the authentic Manggaraian houses which are located about 1100m above sea level in the middle of the mountains. There are seven traditional houses built in the same form of which six are for the local people and one extra house for the children. In Wae Rebo village, the visitors can see these houses with 5 story roofs, which the top four are mainly used for storage and the bottom floor is used for living. Arrive at noon in the village, lunch at the village and in
the afternoon keep in contact with the locals and walking around the village. Dinner and stay overnight in a provided local house.

Day 3 : Wae Rebo – Denge – Dintor – Labuan Bajo
After breakfast, we trek back down to Denge Village where lunch will be provided. After lunch, we will drive back to Labuan Bajo. Dinner and stay overnight at Luwansa Beach Resort Hotel.

Day 4.Labuan Bajo – Rinca Island – Komodo Island
We will depart the hotel in the early morning and go by boat to visit the first island inhabited by the Komodo Dragon called Rinca. After 2 hours of sailing we arrive at Rinca and start your trek. We will be walking through the typical dry forest to explore the Island of Komodo dragon and while trekking you have a chance to see the last giant lizard on the planet and other wild animals like the wild buffalo, long-tailed macaque and wild boars. The landscape from Rinca Island is also rewarding see how the local terrain can support this unique way of life. We return to the boat and proceed to Kambing Island for swimming and snorkeling. Afternoon proceed to Komodo Island. Excellent local dinner and overnight on the house boat.

Day 5 : Komodo Village – Komodo trekking-Pink beach – Labuan Bajo
In the morning after breakfast, we will visit Komodo village and explore their daily life. It is rewarding to meet with the locals and they are very happy to allow you to take pictures (ask them first please). Afterward we continue to Loh Liang for doing a 2 hour trek that provides another chance to see the dragon and other wild animals, such as the Timor deer, wild boars and numerous birds. We return to the boat and proceed to Pink beach for swimming, snorkeling in the clear sea water. In the afternoon, we sail back to Labuan Bajo. Dinner and overnight at Luwansa Beach Resort Hotel or Golo hilltop hotel.

Day 6 : Labuan Bajo-Denpasar
After breakfast at your hotel. At Leisure while waiting for our guide to pick up and take you to the Airport to catch flight back to Denpasar.
PRICE INCLUDES:

PRICE EXCLUDES:
Flight tickets, Meals at Hotel, fee park,travel insurance, Personal expenditure such as laundry, phone calls, tipping, airport taxes, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks, camera fee, snorkeling fee, etc.

WHAT TO BRING:
Dress is casual. Clothing should be light, preferably cotton with at least one long sleeved shirt and pants. Bathing suit, thongs or sandals and sneakers or walking boots, lots of film, camera, replacement batteries, and spares. Women please note Indonesia is a mostly Muslim country and custom dictates modesty. Please be well covered on shore excursions. Bring one light sweater or jacket as it can get cool in the highlands. Also bring sun-screen, insect repellent, sunglasses, sunhat, swimmers. Please advise beforehand if you have any special dietary requirements. Beer is available at local rates. Bring also your passport, visa, airline tickets, local currency and or US$ in small denominations.
